individual arrival in Santo Stefano di Sessanio
Meeting with the guide and briefing. In the afternoon you will have free time to visit the historical village. Dinner and overnight.
The lakes of the Racollo refuge

Transfer to the Racollo refuge (10 minutes). From there you will leave for the trekking in the Gran Sasso National Park along the path that will take you to visit the three lakes. Return to the refuge, free time, dinner and overnight.
Castelvecchio Calvisio, walk with a donkey

Today you will have a walk companion – donkey; children can ride on a donkey. You will walk through the villages of the Barony from Santo Stefano di Sessanio to Castelvecchio Calvisio through the Viano valley and the Santo Stefano wood. During the excursion you may be lucky enough to meet some deer, wild boar and other animals. Return to the refuge, free time, dinner and overnight.
Campo Imperatore and Castel del Monte

Transfer to Mucciante refuge on the “Piana di Campo Imperatore” (15 minutes). From there you will leave for a hike to visit the historical village Castel del Monte and then return to Santo Stefano. Free time, dinner and overnight.

From Santo Stefano di Sessanio you will walk to Campo Imperatore. Through a plateau and then up a valley you will reach the impressive Ladyhawke Castle. You will descent then to the village of Calascio for a break before returning to Santo Stefano. Dinner and overnight.
