Malga Zanga - Mount Creino

Arrival in Malga Zanga in the morning.
In the afternoon meeting with a guide and with donkeys and walk to the Mount Creino – this is an easy walk and you will get acquinted with your donkeys during the walk. On your arrival on Mount Creino you will find out evident traces of the presence of the Austro-Hungarian troops, that, from the respective peaks, had the control on Rovereto, Vallagarina and Northern Garda. Then following the defense line you will arrive at the peak Creino – a spectacular terrace overlooking Garda lake.
Return to Malga Zanga for relax, dinner and overnight.
Gresta Valley

After the breakfast you will prepare your donkeys for a walk to Gresta Valley. More than being a classic valley, the Val di Gresta seems a huge theatre made of terraces that lies between rock walls and forests. Thanks to the particular geographic position and the mild climate the valley’s agriculture became an important feature that produces now excellent goods. As regards biological cultivation the farmers are technologically up to date since they were the first in northern Italy introducing the methods and techniques of the biological agriculture.
In the afternoon return to Malga Zanga for relax. Dinner and overnight.

Today a serious climb up to the top of the Mount Stivo (2059 m) is awaiting!
After the breakfast you will prepare your donkeys and you will start to climb up following a steep mountain path. The higher you get the most spectacular views you will discover – Garda lake, the Adamello, Brenta and Presanella mountain massifs. There is a mountain refuge on the top of Mount Stivo where you can relax and have a cup of coffee or a glass of beer while enjoying the panorama.
In the afternoon return to Malga Zanga, dinner and overnight.
